| Elements
are manufactured in … SINERGIA |
| Nobil
Metal present a new way to manu-facture individual
elements or fixed bridges in ceramic, alloy, sintered
metal, burnout resin or resin for temporaries. |
For over 100
years, the production of fixed prosthetic devices has
been based on manual work protocols which, besides being
based on the manual skill of the operator, also envisage
the use of numerous materials and appliances.
With the SINERGIA project, Nobil Metal is offering an
alternative way of manufacturing,
by optimising it, restricting costs, using materials
ideal for specific types of rehabilitation, without
exclusions of any kind.
Nowadays the CAD-CAM market is in full expansion and
offers a wide choice of materials and solutions. For
the first time, SINERGIA offers the option of dealing
with a single manufacturing centre, requesting the device
to be made using materials selected on the basis of
the real needs of the technician/dentist/patient, and
not according to the decisions of the company manufacturing
the system.
Another novel aspect of SINERGIA is the possibility
of being able to use the majority of the scanners on
the market, providing they are capable of producing
and
generating an STL file. Using the D-250 3Shape A/S scanner,
an integral part of
the system, it is even possible to send files to other
manufacturing centres.
With SINERGIA, the work-flow is extremely simple.
Having developed the model, the D-250 3Shape A/S is
used to reproduce it digitally.
Using Dental Designer, a sophisticated yet easy to use
application, the virtual model is used to design and
manufacture the frame or coping. A 3 element bridge
is made easily in just 10 minutes.
Once the virtual modelling step is completed, it is
sent by e-mail to the SINERGIA manufacturing centre. |

The possibility
of using this system to also make metal alloy or sintered
alloy elements makes it possible to optimise manufacturing,
to make any kind of prosthetic device prescribed by
the dentist while restricting manufacturing costs and
spreading out the cost of the scanner, PC and software,
which can be used to make 70-80% of the output of an
average dental laboratory.
Lasersintering technology, together with the experience
of Nobil Metal in the field of sintering of alloys (the
only company in the world to have had a range of sintered
alloys certified for use in the dental sector in their
catalogue for a number of years) makes it possible to
manufacture alloy structures with a more compact crystal
lattice than conventional Micro- Grain alloy.
Furthermore, all the alloy items supplied using SINERGIA
are accompanied by spectrophotometric certification.
A unique guarantee, both for the laboratory
commissioning manufacturing tasks using SINERGIA and
for the dentist prescribing
the device.
“We really believe in this innovation – explains Giuseppe
Venturini the CEO of Nobil Metal S.p.A. – and the investment
we have made is testimony to that. We have
established a manufacturing centre at our Villafranca
d’Asti site, with other facilities
located throughout the country.
We use state-of-the-art equipment but above all, thanks
to our experience with sintered powders, we can offer
dental laboratories access to future technology, using
it not just for marginal aspects of their manufacturing
activities, but to for making almost everything the
specialist prescribes”.
Sinergia is tailor-made for dental technicians.
Through the high profile and decidedly open-source technological
renovation of dental CADCAM, it is one of the first
systems to offer the dental technician full responsibility
for designing and sending STL files to the most compatible
manufacturing centres.
The real centre of the venture, the beating and thinking
heart, is and remains, the skilled technician and not
the machine.
It is the technician who decides on the choice of materials
and the manufacturing technique. |
Thus,
Sinergia does not seek to replace the work and the
experience of the operator,
but to restore competitiveness by “creating” market
share through manufacturing,
eliminating waste of product and time, with proper
investment and satisfying the needs of the dental
technician.
